Born and raised in Chicago I grew up in the family restaurant business and made it my career until I turned 27. Then I decided to switch careers and went to work for the national passenger railroad better known as amtrak. From 2010 until now I traveled across the country meeting, greeting, and directing passengers from all walks of life from all over the country and world. In this setting I saw it as a city on wheels, I worked the sleeper cars (first class), the dining car, and the coaches. Working out of Chicago permitted me to travel to the south, east, and west coast. My favorite routes were the California Zephyr to Emeryville, California and the Empire Builder to Portland Oregon. During my trips I saw how cities such as Denver and Seattle opened up shops for legal business and the tourist it drew who took the trains. I witnessed how some cannabis shops struggled to keep up with the changing rules and regulations. In Oakland I got to visit cannabis social clubs, one was opened as the church of weed. In all my travels Emma Chasen is the person I looked for when I needed enlightenment and facts on medicinal use. Emma’s views on education and workplace ethics resonate with me.

I’m taking her courses to level up my knowledge and educate myself so I can help those who reach out to me.  My aspirations are to bring this education to Mexico, I know its a tall order, for my next part of my life, maybe the rest 🙂
